About Our Agency

I am a highly accomplished and decisive leader with over 20 years of progressive senior leadership experience in the financial and retail industries. Throughout my career, I have successfully streamlined business operations by enhancing financial controls, budgeting processes, strategic planning, performance management, sales production, and staff development. My leadership style is results-driven and resourceful, with a proven track record of growing revenue and reducing expenses. 

As a proud Warrick County native, I have lived in this community for most of my life. I graduated from Castle High School and went on to earn my bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Indiana. 

In 2010, my wife Alison and I made our home in Newburgh, Indiana—a place we truly love. We have one son, Easton, who is 11 years old and currently attends Newburgh Elementary School. He is actively involved in the local Cub Scouts, where both Alison and I proudly serve as den and pack leaders. Our family also includes a beloved dog—Molly, a 4 year-old Pyrenees Doodle.

Insurance runs deep in our family. Alison’s family brings over 120 combined years of experience in the insurance industry. Her grandfather founded Southwood Insurance Group in the 1960s with a focus on life and health insurance, while her other grandfather operated a Farm Bureau agency in Fort Branch, Indiana for three decades. Today, her stepfather, Thomas Southwood, continues the family legacy by running Southwood Insurance Group, specializing in employer health benefits and life insurance for over 40 years. 

Given this strong family tradition, it was only natural for us to continue the path laid by Lloyd, Eugene, and Tom. In April 2021, we launched our own agency—designed to carry forward their values and expertise while serving the families of Paradise, Indiana. Our mission is to provide outstanding service to our community, helping to protect what matters most and offering peace of mind during life’s most challenging moments.-State Area. In 2021, Jeremey Davis (Son-in-Law) created Paradise Insurance Group to expand Southwood Insurance Group.
